Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 8, 2026

Minday ("Minday," "we," "us," or "our") is an app that lets you capture notes, reminders, expenses, and important dates into personal or shared spaces with the people you choose. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at takshaktiwari@gmail.com.

Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a password (stored securely hashed, never in plain text). You can also sign in with Google, in which case we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google — we only ever request Google's basic profile and email scopes, never access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or any other Google data. You may also set a timezone and upload a profile photo directly.

Content you create

Items (notes, lists, reminders), expenses, and important dates you add are stored so they can be shown back to you and to the other members of the Space you added them to. This content is scoped to that Space — it is only visible to people who are members of it, never shared globally or with other Spaces.

Device and notification data

If you enable notifications, we store a device push token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can deliver reminders and activity alerts to your browser or device. You can disable notification categories at any time from Settings.

Technical data

Like most web applications, we use a session cookie to keep you signed in and to protect against cross-site request forgery. See our Cookie Policy for details.

How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers.

Who we share information with

Content you add to a Space is visible to the other members of that Space — that's the whole point of Minday. Beyond that, we share data only with the service providers that make the app work:

These providers only receive what's necessary to perform their function and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes. We do not otherwise sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.

Minday's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. Deletion isn't immediate — it starts a 90-day grace period, during which simply logging back in cancels the deletion automatically. See our Account Deletion page for the full walkthrough, including exactly what happens to your data once the 90 days pass — in short, a personal space is permanently erased, while content you added to a shared space stays with that space (attributed to "Deleted user") so it doesn't disappear on the other members.

Your rights

You can view and update your account information at any time from your Profile page. You can request a copy of your data, ask us a question about how it's used, or request deletion beyond the self-service flow above, by emailing takshaktiwari@gmail.com.

Children's privacy

Minday is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
